On completion of all units of this course you will obtain a Certificate in Discipleship (DSP 211 / 212) from the University of the Nations.
The Discipleship Training School (YWAM-DTS) is a six-month training that will transform your life! You will deepen your relationship with God and be trained to go into the mission field to make God known. What is unique about this school is that it consists of two parts: being trained in the classroom and being trained on the mission field.
Are you searching for a life changing experience and renewing in your life? The lecture phase could just be that for you: get to know God better, be rooted deeper in him, learn to hear God’s voice, dive into his Word and discover his calling for your life. You will learn through inputs, living in a community and you will always get opportunities to put the things you learn straight into practice.
The DTS lecture phase will be bilingual with Dutch and English translation.
For the mission trip (also called outreach) your class will split up intro different teams. The focus will be on evangelism, children/youth ministry, mercy ministry and church involvement. You will travel all over the earth, experience new cultures, work with locals and share the gospel. Discover your gifts and talents as you make God known.

A unique aspect of a DTS at YWAM Heidebeek is that we offer focus-tracks. At the beginning of your DTS you will choose one of the available tracks. You then have two moments a week to focus on the track. See below which tracks are running in your DTS!
This track will equip, coach and train you in using music to lead people to God. We will do this by inviting speakers, making music together and giving coaching. The track will cover the following topics: what is worship, relationship with God, leading worship and reaching out.

‘From everywhere to everyone”: we ware all called to be part of fulfilling the Great Commission that God has given to us. Missions is not only for a few people but for everyone! In this track you will hear different missions’ stories and discover your own place in missions with your unique gifting, passions and talents.

Youth with a Mission, Heidebeek believe in training and equipping young people for missions. That is why we have specialised courses and training for after your DTS: “second level schools”. At Heidebeek we offer a special opportunity for you: if you apply (before your outreach) for a second-level school -for after your DTS- at Heidebeek, you will get a 300 euro discount on that school.
